デンマークのアイウェアブランドØrgreenより、GamFratesi、minä perhonenとのコラボメガネフレームをリリース

デンマークのアイウェアブランド「Ørgreen」と「GamFratesi」、「minä perhonen」による初のコラボレ ーションカプセルコレクション『IMAGINARY LINES』が2021年2月15日にリリースされました。

コレクションは、ミニマルで美しく、実用的なデザインで 、職人の技術を大切にし、時間をかけても良い物作りをするという、互いのデザイン哲学に基づいたプロダクトとなっています。製作過程では、GamFratesiがØrgreenのデザインチームと共にフレームを創り、 minä perhonenが、Ørgreenのシニア・カラーリストと共にフレームに使用する色について考え抜きました。フレームの素材は、Ørgreenのトレードマークとも言える日本製のチタンで作られており、繊細さと耐久性の両方を備えた、驚くほど薄くてすっきりとした仕上がりとなっています。

今回のイタリア、デンマーク、日本のデザイナーによる『IMAGINARY LINES CAPSULE COLLECTION 』のコラボレーションでは、デンマークでデザインされ、日本でハンドメイドにより生産されたもので、Ørgreenの美とデザインの精神が体現されています。Ørgreen Opticsは、個性的なデザイン、品質の確かさ、日本製のチタン素材による タイムレスなアイウェア・フレームで定評があります。建築家でありデザイナーでもあるGamFratesi（Stine Gam、Enrico Fratesiのデュオ）は、数年前からØrgreen Opticsのフレームを 愛用していました。また、GamFratesiは日本のデザイナー皆川明（minä perhonen）の長年の友として、共同制作の機会を探っていました。彼らは、繋がりというものが深刻に問われている今の時代に、このローバルなコラボレーションを、前向きなメッセージとして発信したいと考えています。

Ørgreen has collaborated with GamFratesi & minä perhonen (Akira Minagawa) to create Imaginary Lines

A collaboration called “IMAGINARY LINES” between the Danish eyewear brand “Ørgreen”, and the design companies “GamFratesi” and “minä perhonen” was launched worldwide earlier this month.

The theme of the collection is based on each brand’s design philosophy of taking their time with the craftsmanship in order to create clean, minimal yet practical styles that can withstand the passing of time. During this process, GamFratesi worked with Ørgreen’s design team on the frames, and Minagawa worked with Ørgreen’s senior colourist on the glasses’ colourways. The frame is made from Ørgreen’s trademark Japanese titanium, which is the key factor in making the surprisingly thin and clean finished frame.

The opportunity for Italian, Danish and Japanese designers to cooperate on a capsule eyewear collection perfectly embodies the aesthetic qualities and design ethos of Ørgreen; designed in Denmark and handmade in Japan. These fresh three-design houses collaborated on creating a unique union of creative minds. Especially, the name of the collection is a tribute to the creative drive behind the designers’ work and signifies a positive message of global collaboration, at a time when connectedness is being gravely challenged.
