ロイヤル コペンハーゲンは年に一度の大切なエキシビション、58回目の「クリスマス テーブル」をコペンハーゲンにあるフラッグシップストア、アマトー本店にて開催します。1963年以来、本イベントはデンマークの愛すべきカルチャーの一部となっており、訪れるすべて人を魅了し、近年ではデジタルでも配信され世界中のファンを歓喜させる展示イベントとなっています。
’New Traditions’（新しい様式）というテーマに基づき、2021年のクリスマス テーブルは、クリスマスのお祝いのしかたにも影響を与える、人生の様々な局面や、暮らしに変化をもたらす人生のイベントにスポットをあてます。各家庭でのクリスマスの過ごし方は様々。毎年繰り返し行うこと、次の世代へ受け継いでゆくこと。若い世代のファミリーが自分達らしいクリスマスの時間を作りだす時には、新しい決めごとが生まれ、クリスマスに新たな個性と表情をもたらします。クリスマスの伝統的な儀式は横に置いておこう。もてなす人が変われば新しいスタイルが始まる。クリスマスのストーリーに新たな章が加わります。
今年は５組７名のカリスマによる５つのクリスマス テーブルが完成しました。銘々が、自身のクリスマスのストーリーと自分らしく彩ったクリスマスの過ごし方を余すところなく披露しています。愛溢れるストーリーと、想像をかきたてるようなクリスマスの過ごし方を、様々な世代の、様々な専門分野に秀でたアーティストの手によりクリエイティブに表現されています。
クリスマス ストーリーを展開する今年のテーブル デコレーター達：
Nanna Øland Fabricius (O Land) ナンナ ウランド ファブリシス（ステージネーム：O Land） (1985年生)：歌手、TVパーソナリティー
Cecilie Haugaard セシリエ ハウガー（1990年生）：インフルエンサー、モデル、TVパーソナリティー
Couple Nikolaj Stokholm and his wife Isabella Stokholmニコラジ ストックホルム（1990年生）夫妻：コメディアン、TVパーソナリティ―。夫人のイザベラ ストックホルム（1993年生）：インフルエンサー、大学院生。
Couple Christina Meyer Bengtsson. and her husband Claus Meyerクリスティーナ メイヤー ベングトソン（1964年生）夫妻：ハートワークデザイン オーナー、インテリアとグラフィックデザインのクリエイティブ専門家。夫のクラウスメイヤー（1963年生）：ガストロノミー関連の起業家、メイヤーズ（レストラン）の前オーナー、調理本の著者、事業主。
Lotte Freddieロッテ フレッディ（1935年生）：記者、作家、講師、元モデル、Børsen紙・ Berlingske Tidende紙（いずれも新聞）のファッションエディター。文化への功績を称えるフランスの最高勲章 レジオン・ドヌール勲章を受勲。
Nannaは、居心地の良い夢のような雰囲気の中であなたが愛する人々と過ごすことに焦点を当てた最初のテーブルです。これは、彼女のクリスマスの見方にインスパイアを受けたものです。
Nannaは音楽に重きを置く家から来たので、音楽に関する表現が彼女のテーブルに組み込まれました。彼女は、デンマークで人気のクリスマスソング「Det kimer nu til Julefest」の歌詞の一節をテーブルクロスに刺繍しました。テーブルの真ん中には、雪の中に立っている鹿が鐘、赤色、シルクのラッピングに囲まれているのを見ることができます。
2番目のテーブルは、家族と過ごすクリスマスに焦点を当てているCecilie Haugaardによるものです。 今年のクリスマスはCecilieにとって非常に特別なものです。何故ならば、彼女の新しい娘ノエルとの最初のクリスマスになるからです。 家族の最初の孫であるノエルは、当然のことながらクリスマスパーティーの注目を集めます。 Cecilieはまた、フランスでの多くの休暇や留学旅行の経験から、フランスのデザインに影響を受けています。
クリスティーナ自身がデザインしたファミリーキッチンの温かみのある雰囲気は、赤いリノリウムが敷かれた長いオーク材のテーブルで再現されています。さらに彼らは、プリンセスをはじめとする、ブルーフルートフルレース（Blue Fluted Full Lace）、ブルーフルートハーフレースと青いガラスプレート（Blue Fluted Half Lace combined with blue glass plates）、カラフルな吹きグラス、クリスタルワイングラスなどの複数のコレクションを使用しました。このテーブルは、家族の歴史、クラシックな家への想い、そして楽しい人生の雰囲気を反映しています。
Christina Meyer BengtssonとClaus Meyerのペアが4番目のテーブルを設定しました。 このカップルの焦点は、キッチン、家の中心、愛、そして家族みんなで料理したり、絆が深まったり、ヒュッゲのために集まる場所でした。

ストックホルム夫妻は、お互いの家族や幼少期の伝統を混ぜ合わせて、3番目のテーブルをデザインしました。彼らは独自の新しい伝統を追加しました。 それは、午後の早い時間にシャンパンとお菓子でパーティーを始め、子供たちが寝た後にホットドッグと冷たいビールでパーティーを終えるようなものです。

Lotte Freddieはクリスマスを魔法、たくさんのパーティー、色、そして驚きと関連付けた最後のテーブルを製作しました。 Lotteの祖母は、魔法と贅沢をこよなく愛する王室のバレリーナであり、毎年クリスマスは豪華でカラフルなパーティーのように飾られていました。
Freddieは、伝統が非常に重要で人間を結びつけるものであり、伝統を継承していかなければと考えています。 Freddieは、祖母のように、家を飾るのが大好きで、友人や家族をjule-hyggeに招待します。
彼女は祖母との幼少期の伝統へのオマージュとして、お祝いのテーブルと雰囲気を再現しました。また、彼女の祖父母が大切に所有していたフローラ・ダニカを使用し、金色のカトラリー、クリスタルガラス、濃い赤のポートワイングラス、そしてたくさんの赤とピンクの花でテーブルを飾りました。さらに、伝統的なデンマークのクリスマス料理、Risengrød（ライスプディング）用の大きなボウルも一緒に置きました。

For the 58th time, Royal Copenhagen opens its doors to the cherished annual exhibition of Christmas Tables at the Royal Copenhagen Flagship Store at Amagertorv 6 in the heart of Copenhagen. Since 1963, the exhibition has become a beloved part of Danish culture, attracting visitors of all ages, and in recent years, the exhibition has also been released digitally for a global audience to enjoy.
To the theme of ’New Traditions’, the Annual Christmas Tables 2021 center on the different phases and life-changing events of our lives that affect how we celebrate Christmas. A diversity of holiday traditions play out in each family; repeated year after year, passed on from one generation to the next. And new traditions also arise when young families create their own holiday moments, giving Christmas a new character and expression. The rituals of the holiday are passed on, taking on a new life as new hosts take over, adding new chapters to our holiday stories.
Royal Copenhagen has invited seven charismatic personalities to set this year’s five Christmas Tables, each sharing personal stories of their holidays and the traditions they have made their own. This year’s table artists are all storytellers within their own creative and professional field, representing outlooks from various generations that bring loving stories and inspiring perspectives to the holidays and its traditions.
This year´s table decorators, who will unfold their holiday stories in a world of porcelain, are:
Nanna Øland Fabricius (O Land) (b. 1985) – Singer composer and TV personality
Cecilie Haugaard (b. 1990) – Influencer, model and TV personality
Couple Nikolaj Stokholm (b. 1990) – Comedian and TV personality – and his wife Isabella Stokholm (b. 1993), Influencer and Graduate Student
Couple Christina Meyer Bengtsson (b. 1964) – Owner of Heartwork Design and creative multidisciplinary within interior and graphic design, and her husband Claus Meyer (b. 1963) – Gastronomic entrepreneur, co-owner of Meyers A/S, cookbook author and business owner
Lotte Freddie (b. 1935) – Journalist, author and lecturer and former model and Fashion Editor Børsen and Berlingske Tidende. Granted with the prestigious French order Légion d’honneur.
Nanna, which is inspired by her view of Christmas, sets the first table focusing on spending time with people you love in a cozy and magical atmosphere.
Since Nanna comes from a home where music has always been a big priority, music has been incorporated in her table. She has embroidered stanzas from the first verse of the popular Danish Christmas song “Det kimer nu til Julefest” into the tablecloth.
In the middle of the table, you can see a deer standing in the snow, surrounded by bells, red nuances, and silk wrapping.
Second table is by Cecilie Haugaard, who is focusing on the company of her family. This year’s Christmas is very special for Cecilie, as it will be the first Christmas with her new daughter, Noelle. Noelle, as the families’ first grandchild, will naturally be the centre of attention at the Christmas party. Cecilie has also been inspired by the French design after her many vacations in France as well as a study abroad trip.
The warm atmosphere in the family kitchen has been recreated on a long oak table with a red linoleum top, which Christina herself has designed. On top of that, they make use of multiple collection: Princess, Blue Fluted Full Lace and Blue Fluted Half Lace combined with blue glass plates, colourful mouthblown drinking glasses and crystal wine glasses. The table mirrors the couple’s family histories, their joint passion for a classy home and their sense of the joyful sides of life.
The pair of Christina Meyer Bengtsson and Claus Meyer set the fourth table. The focus for this couple has been the kitchen, the centrum of the house, love, and the place where families gather for cooking, bonding, and chaotic hygge.
The couple likes to repeat their design, so every year they reuse the same ornaments. Although, they have also created new traditions, that their kids have been a big part of making.

Mr. and Ms. Stockholm, mixing traditions from both families and from childhood, designed the third table. They have however added their own new traditions. Like starting the party early in afternoon with champagne and confectionery, and ending it with hotdogs and cold beers after the kids have gone to bed.
Aesthetics are important to both Isabella and Nikolaj, which is obvious from their elegant Christmas Table, which balances classic and contemporary elements. The couple have set the table with the collections; Princess, Blue Fluted Full Lace and Blue Fluted Half Lace combined with blue glass plates, colourful mouthblown drinking glasses and crystal wine glasses. The table mirrors the couple’s family histories, their joint passion for a classy home and their sense of the joyful sides of life.
Lotte Freddie who associates Christmas with magic, a lot of partying, colours, and surprises sets the last table. Lottes grandmother was royal ballerina with a love for the magical and extravagant, and every year Christmas was decorated like a lavish, colourful party.
Freddie believes traditions is very important, and is what binds humans together, and gives her a sense of duty to pass the traditions on. Freddie, like her grandmother, loves decorating her home and invite friends and family over for jule-hygge.
As a tribute to her grandmother and childhood traditions, she recreates the festive table and mood. In addition to covering up with Flora Danica, which her grandparents were proud and happy owners of, she sets the table with golden cutlery, crystal glasses, dark red port wine glasses, and copious amounts of red and pink flowers. Lastly, there is a large bowl for the traditional Danish Christmas food, Risengrød (Rice porridge).
This year, the exhibition officially opens 12th November and is open on the 2nd floor of the Royal Copenhagen Flagship Store at Amagertorv 6, 1160 Copenhagen K until 31st December 2021. The exhibition can also be experienced digitally at www.royalcopenhagen.com.
